Vaccination

Puppies require a course of two vaccines which can start as early as 8 weeks of age and administering the second vaccine 4 weeks later.

As the vaccine does not offer lifelong immunity, it is important that your dog receives an annual booster vaccination.

Neutering

Neutering is recommended from the age of six months.

Neutering your dog will eliminate common problems which can develop later in life.

Neutering can also prevent some unwanted behavioural problems and reduce the number of unwanted dogs destroyed each year.

Microchipping

Microchipping involves injecting a chip, the size of a grain of rice, under your pet's skin at the neck.

The chip is then registered on a central database where all your details and your pet's details are stored.

This is a legally required permanent identification, which allows the person scanning your dog i.e. dog warden/vet to identify you as the owner, should your pet ever become lost.
